Chickpea blondies! Wait, don’t be afraid! I swear they don’t taste like hummus. These blondies give you a soft chocolate chip cookie taste, without any added flour.

Ps- I’ve got a recipe coming soon that will show you how to use up some aquafaba, which is the liquid in a can of chickpeas.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed (save the aquafaba for another recipe)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup sugar free syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Steps

  1. Place all ingredients except the chocolate chips into a food processor, and blend until smooth.

  2. Fold in chocolate chips.

  3. Scoop batter into a greased 9x9 brownie pan, and top with more chocolate chips.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
