Apple Crumble Bars
If the crumble is your favourite part of an apple crumble, then this recipe is for you. These apple crumble bars are delicious to have for dessert, but with no added sugar could also be a healthy breakfast. I like to eat mine with a dollop of Greek yogurt on top.
Apple Crumble Bars

Ingredients
3 cups apples, finely chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cornstarch (or almond flour)
2 tbsp cinnamon, divided
1.5 cups oats
1.5 cups almond flour
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup sugar free syrup
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp salt
Steps
Mix the oats, almond flour, coconut oil, syrup, salt and 1 tbsp of cinnamon.
Press 3/4 of the dough into a lined 9x9 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Mix the apples, remaining cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice together.
Remove the pan from the oven and pour apples onto the base.
Top with remaining crumble.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, until browned on top.
